There are many opportunities to volunteer and give back to ADSC, all club members can help and access the training and support.

All support is welcome, from giving as little as hour a month or more!
Helping poolside
Members, you could help poolside and support other swimmers and share your experience whilst learning new skills to become a great coach and team leader. Talk to your coach and find out more. Then head over to the enquiry page.
DofE Award
Are you looking to complete the skill or volunteering assessment part of your award? If so, then we can help, go to the enquiry page and send a message.
Train to be a level 1 swimming coach
As a member of SwimMark we are able to support you in gaining the skills to become a Level 1 swimming coach. Find out more about what this can lead to here. You don’t need to be a swimmer yourself, there are plenty of different roles you can support in.
Help out on the committee
Keep the club running smoothly and give your time once a month for a meeting, supporting the chairman and head coach. This is a rewarding role, ensuring that all members have the very best opportunities within the club. Find out more about the current members on the Committee page.

Become a volunteer at the local meets and events
Help out at local events, selling raffle tickets, offering drinks to the officials and other essential jobs that keep the meets running. Get in touch with Catriona Mohammed via the enquiry form.

Train and become an official, helping poolside to ensure we can run successful meets and events
Be part of the team in white! Train to be an official, time keeper, or referee, without these very important roles filled we are unable to hold these amazing meets for all our members to enjoy. There is a short course which you are supported through, contact us for more information on the enquiry form.
