AYLESBURY GRAMMAR SCHOOL UPDATE 9TH MARCH Not entirely unexpected but there have been further technical problems at the pool and we have been advised it will be closed for the foreseeable future. As this is the second time this has happened we have taken the decision that the Learn to Swim section of the club will in future cater for swimmers in Stages 1 to 6 only and will move permanently to Booker Park School. Stage 7 swimmers will join Parry Squad at the Stadium on Sundays. There will be some overlap and flexibility on this during the transitional period as we seek to accommodate current members. All swimmers will be contacted individually by the end of this week to advise their session. If you have a problem with your allocated time, please contact Kathy to discuss. Refunds are on their way where appropriate.
Accommodating those in Gibson and Goodhew Squads is clearly not as straightforward with additional pool time elsewhere being so difficult to come by. We are making enquiries and doing our best to resolve the situation. In the meantime, please make the effort to attend all sessions open to you, including Saturday mornings for Goodhew Squad! Thank you for your understanding and be assured we are putting a lot of time into this and will do the best we can for all swimmers.
TRAINING CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES SUNDAYS 7TH AND 14TH MARCH Due to the County Championships, there is no training at the Aqua Vale on the next two Sundays and training for Goodhew, Moorhouse, Hickman and Foster is cancelled. Parry and Learn to Swim sessions are as normal. Gibson Squad training is moved to the Stadium from 6pm to 7.30pm. Masters sessions are as normal. Easter Break - there will be no training on 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th April and no training at Booker Park during the school holiday. We have yet to hear from the Grammar School as to a possible return date. Please keep checking for updates.

Andrew Tait (all ADSC) Joe Ruler (Bourne End SC) and Alfie Wheeler on gaining their qualification. Many thanks to Head Coach Rob Sawers, who in true ADSC tradition gave his time free of charge as trainer for the course, so keeping the cost to swimmers as low as possible. The age requirement for the course is 16 years. If there is sufficient interest from swimmers it may be possible to arrange another course in the later half of 2010. Please register your interest with Kathy if you would like to take part.
