TRAINING CHANGES FROM 3RD AUGUST 2010 Following Cliff's departure, we welcome Stephen Green and Donna Lee to the coaching team. Steve and Donna will initially be supporting Gibson Squad. LEARN TO SWIM - Tuesday lessons at Booker Park have now moved back to Aylesbury Grammar School on Tuesdays from 5pm to 6pm. GIBSON SQUAD - Tuesday sessions at Halton are relocated to the Grammar School from 6pm to 7pm. HICKMAN SQUAD - The Thursday 6pm - 7pm session at Aqua Vale is replaced by a Tuesday session at Halton from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. We are able to offer some flexibility where families are split between the Grammar and Halton on a Tuesday. Please discuss with Andy if you are in this situation. Summary of Gibson and Hickman sessions commencing Tuesday 3rd August
AUGUST TRAINING BREAK The last sessions before the August break take place on Monday 16th August. We resume on Tuesday 31st August. We wish all swimmers and volunteers a relaxing and enjoyable break. It is certainly deserved! We have been asked a couple of questions recently regarding fees, and would like to reiterate that the fee requirement is calculated on an annual basis taking into account closure periods (August and Christmas) and the likelihood of other occasional missed sessions. This is then split into 12 monthly amounts for payment purposes. Therefore the August payment should be made as normal. If you have any further queries in this regard, please contact Kathy. Many thanks.
LEARN TO SWIM MONDAY CANCELLATIONS Additional sessions as replacements for missed Monday sessions due to Bank Holidays will be held on Tuesdays 7th and 14th September at Aylesbury Grammar School from 5pm to 6pm. All swimmers in Learn to Swim on Mondays at Booker Park School are welcome to attend. Please contact Debbie with any queries.
PERSONALISED HATS Karen has submitted the order for named hats. The delivery time is four weeks. Cost is £8 per hat or £14 if two with the same name have been ordered. If you could let Karen have a cheque payable to ADSC in the next few weeks, distribution of hats will then be much faster and easier once they arrive. Many thanks.
CHILTERN LEAGUE 2010 Well done to all those who took part in the three rounds. ADSC came 4th overall in the competition this year which is an excellent achievement.
