Open Meet Information PLEASE RETURN BARNET COPTHALL ENTRIES TO ROB AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ALL ENTRIES FOR THE BBAT MEET, MAXWELL OPEN AND CRAWLEY LONG COURSE OPEN HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED Following a Planning Meeting the ADSC coaching team has built into the training programme an Open Meet timetable for swimmers to obtain Qualifying Times for the County Championships 2011, whilst continuing to deliver an ALL INCLUSIVE programme for swimmers at all stages of development within the Club. Entry forms for the various Open Meets targeted are available to download below. Others will follow as they become available. We are very mindful of the increasing cost of entering open meets, this being one of the reasons for forming the BBAT Group, so as to be able to offer low cost opportunities to our swimmers through non profit making open meets. There will also be opportunities to collect qualifying times at the National Arena League galas on 9th October, 13th November and 11th December as well as at other inter club galas. Depending on the number of swimmers entering, it may be possible to arrange coach travel to Crawley and Barnet Copthall. Entries are first come first so please return entry forms to your coach as soon as possible. Please always include your ASA number on your entry forms. This can be found on your ASA membership card or by following the link below. http://www.swimmingresults.org/customerservices/membershipcheck/index.php
In addition there are galas arranged between now and the end of the year to include Novice through C and B Grade to A Grade swimmers , with the intention that all swimmers wishing to compete have the opportunity to do so. These are detailed on the Fixtures page and team selections will be posted 2 to 3 weeks before each gala. Please respond promptly if you are offered a place. Swimmers entering the Crawley Open Meet on 3rd October will not be requested to swim at the Wellingborough Trophy Gala on the 2nd. If you have any questions about the training programme, galas or targeted open meets, please contact a member of the coaching team.
